Papua New Guinea 2006 Dangerous Snakes, the set of 6 maxi-cards each bearing the appropriate stamp cancelled with special first day of issue cancel and signed by photographer and designer Mark O'Shea (only 100 sets exist), complete with signed photograph of Mark O'Shea at the launch of the stamps accompanied by a 2.5m Papuan Taipan, one of the deadliest snakes in the world, responsible for over 200 deaths each year in PNG. Mark O'Shea is a well known herpetologist, TV presenter and author of the definitive book 'A Guide to the Snakes of Papua New Guinea'.
